Innovative AI Training in Nanjing: A New Chapter for Tech Education
Nanjing launches a cutting-edge AI training program, aiming to foster innovation and talent in the tech industry.
Nanjing, a vibrant city known for its rich history and cultural heritage, has taken a significant step forward in the realm of technology education. The city recently launched the Nanjing Artificial Intelligence OPC Elite Training Camp, a program designed to nurture and develop talent in the field of artificial intelligence (AI). This initiative, held at the Xianlin Campus of Nanjing University, is a testament to the city's commitment to fostering innovation and technological advancement.
The training camp, which is a collaborative effort between the Nanjing Science and Technology Bureau, Nanjing University, and Southeast Group (Talent Group), leverages the high-quality scientific and educational resources of Nanjing's prestigious universities and the OPC community platform. The goal is to create a unique OPC (Open Platform Communications) training ecosystem that will inject new energy into the city's AI industry.
The program, spanning one and a half months, attracted 600 participants from both local universities and the wider society. The training is a blend of online and offline sessions, with participants engaged in project-based learning. This approach is not only innovative but also practical, as it aims to facilitate the implementation of more projects and foster a culture of entrepreneurship.
Upon successful completion of the training, participants are inducted into the OPC Entrepreneurial Talent Database. This database offers a comprehensive support system, including computational support, site subsidies, business incubation, and investment and financing matching services. Additionally, participants benefit from the coordinated support of both city and district levels.
The launch event featured the use of the 'Huizhi Big Lobster AI Tool,' which sent a Nanjing OPC policy welfare package to the participants. The first lecture was delivered by Professor Zhou Zhihua, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Vice President of Nanjing University. This demonstrates the high-caliber of speakers and the academic rigor of the program.
Nanjing, with its rich history and modern urban landscape, has always been a hub for education and innovation. The Artificial Intelligence OPC Elite Training Camp is a shining example of how the city is embracing the future, investing in its youth, and driving technological progress. By fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation, Nanjing is setting a precedent for other cities to follow, both in China and around the world.
